This is a piece about presence, tending one's inner light, and the journey from dimming oneself to claiming one's full power. I know now that tending this flame isn’t about grand strategies or perfect plans. It’s simpler yet perhaps more challenging than that. It’s about showing up. About practice. About presence.

I believe this matters now more than ever. In a world that profits from our numbing, and dimming, that thrives on our division, that feeds on our forgetting - choosing to tend our own flame while holding space for others to tend theirs is a radical act. The sharpness between us, the walls we build, the ways we stay small, these patterns are happening inside and outside of us all. They are the fabric of our collective forgetting.

May my musing on my own vulnerable journey offer a hand outstretched to hold yours. What a mysterious and magical walk we are all on, together. Keep tending your fire.

xo,

Genell
